LAWRENCE, Kan., Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Quarterback Collin Klein ran for four touchdowns and threw for another to keep No. 16 Kansas State undefeated with a 59-21 pounding of rival Kansas Saturday.
Klein was 12-of-19 passing for 195 yards but also carried the ball 13 times for 93 yards and four scores.
Tyler Lockett added two touchdowns, one on a 97-yard kickoff return.
Klein scored on runs of 7, 6 and 2 yards in the first half to help stake the Wildcats (7-0, 4-0 Big 12) to a 31-14 halftime lead. He ran one in from 1 yard out early in the third quarter.
Jordan Webb was 12-of-19 with a TD pass for Kansas (2-5, 0-4) before being replaced by Sammuel Lamur.
James Simms ran in a touchdown and D.J. Beshears and Jimmay Mundine caught TD passes. Mudine's 2-yard score came with 1 second to play in the game.
