COL FB: Michigan State 41, Nebraska 28

LINCOLN, Neb., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Jeremy Langford ran for three touchdowns Saturday and No. 16 Michigan State took advantage of five turnovers to record a 41-28 victory over Nebraska.

Langford racked up 151 yards on 32 carries for the Spartans (9-1, 6-0 Big Ten), who won a sixth straight game to strengthen their hold on first place in the Big Ten Conference Legends Division.

Michigan State scored 24 points off Cornhuskers turnovers and added a touchdown following a fake field goal in the fourth quarter.

Connor Cook completed 15-of-31 passes for 193 yards with a score.

Nebraska (7-3, 4-2), meanwhile, lost to the Spartans for the first time in eight all-time meetings.

Tommy Armstrong Jr. and Ron Kellogg III were a combined 17-of-31 passing for 210 yards, three touchdowns and an interception.

Armstrong, however, lost two fumbles.

Ameer Abdullah picked up 123 rushing yards on 22 carries and caught a touchdown pass.
