COL FB: Missouri 31, Tennessee 3

COLUMBIA, Mo., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Maty Mauk got No. 10 Missouri off to a strong start with three first-half touchdown passes and the Tigers pounced on Tennessee Saturday 31-3.

Mauk accumulated 277 total yards, including a career-high 114 yards on the ground on 13 carries.

He also went 12-of-25 passing for 163 yards as Missouri (8-1, 4-1 SEC) rebounded from a tough loss last week against South Carolina, in which it blew a 17-point fourth-quarter lead.

The Tigers remained the only team with just one loss in the SEC East.

Tennessee (4-5, 1-4) got a good game from Joshua Dobbs, who made good on 26-of-42 passes for 240 yards in his first career start. But the true freshman was intercepted twice and lost a fumble as the Volunteers tumbled to an 11th straight conference road loss.
