COL FB: Florida 38, Kentucky 0

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Jeff Driskel hurled a scoring pass and ran for a touchdown Saturday in 14th-ranked Florida's 38-0 victory over Kentucky.

Driskel completed 18-of-27 passes for 203 yards with a touchdown and ran for a score en route to 35 rushing yards on eight carries for the Gators (4-0, 3-0 SEC), who beat Kentucky for the 26th straight time.

Mike Gillislee also scored while running for 56 yards on 13 attempts and Quinton Dunbar made three receptions 36 yards and a touchdown.

Jaylen Watkins led the Gators' defense with a 26-yard score on an interception return.

The Wildcats (1-3, 0-1) were without starting quarterback Maxwell Smith, who was out with a shoulder injury.

Morgan Newton filled in. and tossed three first-half interceptions, ending 7-of-21 for 48 yards.
