COL FB: Michigan St. 33, Georgia 30 (3OT)

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Anthony Rashad White blocked a field goal try in the third overtime Monday, preserving No. 13 Michigan State's 33-30 Outback Bowl win over No. 18 Georgia.

White got a hand on a 47-yard attempt by Blair Walsh, allowing Spartans kicker Dan Conroy's 28-yarder on the previous possession to hold up as the game-winner for Michigan State (10-3).

Conroy also booted a 35-yard field goal in the second overtime, answering a 47-yard Walsh kick.

The Spartans forced overtime when Le'Veon Bell scored on a 1-yard run with 22 seconds remaining, capping an 85-yard, 10-play drive engineered by Kirk Cousins (27-of-50, 300 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions).

Bell finished with 69 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries for the Spartans, who won their first bowl game under Coach Mark Dantonio.

Aaron Murray completed 20-of-32 passes for 287 yards, two scores and two pick-offs for the Bulldogs (10-3).
