COL BKB: Kansas 83, Texas Tech 50

LAWRENCE, Kan., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Thomas Robinson scored 16 points Saturday, one of four Jayhawks reaching double figures for fifth-ranked Kansas in an 83-50 win over Texas Tech.

Also helping out for the Jayhawks (22-5, 12-2 Big 12) were Travis Releford (12 points), Conner Teahan (11) and Kevin Young (10), whose accuracy helped Kansas post a 58-percent shooting mark in the first half.

The win was the 20th straight at home for the Jayhawks, who remained tied for first place in the Big 12 with No. 3 Missouri.

Texas Tech (8-18, 1-13) got 17 points from Javarez Willis while Jordan Tolbert chipped in with 12 for the Red Raiders.
