LUBBOCK, Texas, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Martavious Irving came off the bench to score 16 points Wednesday and No. 24 Kansas State forced 24 turnovers in downing Texas Tech 69-47.
The Wildcats won their third straight, building a 20-point lead midway through the second half while handing the Red Raiders their seventh loss in a row.

Rodney McGruder added 13 points for Kansas State (15-4, 4-3 Big 12 Conference) - -which shot 48 percent from the field even though starters Will Spradling and Jamar Samuels combined to go 0-of-8.
Jordan Tolbert scored 18 points for Texas Tech (7-12, 0-7).
