COL BKB: Kansas 81, Texas Tech 46

LUBBOCK, Texas, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Thomas Robinson made 8-of-11 from the field and scored 19 points Wednesday, pushing No. 10 Kansas to an 81-46 demolition of Texas Tech.

The Jayhawks overcame a slow start to win their sixth in a row, improving to 13-3 overall and 3-0 in the Big 12 Conference.

Kansas found itself behind with 7:30 to play in the opening half before going on a 27-5 run that extended into the second period.

Robinson added 12 rebounds while Tyshawn Taylor scored 15 points for the Jayhawks.

Texas Tech (7-8, 0-3) got 12 points from Javarez Willis.

Kansas made half its field goal attempts and converted 9-of-21 from 3-point range. The Jayhawks will host Iowa State Saturday and then entertain No. 4 and unbeaten Baylor Monday.
