COL BKB: Loyola Marymount 75, St. Louis 68

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- LaRon Armstead scored 22 points Tuesday to lead Loyola Marymount in a 75-68 win over No. 25 St. Louis.

Anthony Ireland caught fire for the Lions (4-2) late in the game, scoring six of his 17 points in the closing minutes to keep St. Louis (6-1) at bay in the home stretch.

Jarred DuBois added 16 points for Loyola Marymount, which scored 18 points off turnovers and won its third consecutive game.

Cody Ellis led the Bilikens with 18 points. Brian Conklin and Kwamain Mitchell added 13 points apiece.

St. Louis led 30-26 at halftime, but the Lions got seven consecutive points from DuBois midway through the half to give Loyola Marymount a six-point lead. The Lions got two clutch field goals from Ireland to make it 68-60 with 1:01 to play.
