COL BKB: Loyola Marymount 69, UCLA 58

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Ashley Hamilton and Anthony Ireland combined for 44 points Friday and brought Loyola-Marymount a shocking 69-58 win over No. 20 UCLA.

The Bruins fell victim to their own poor shooting and the long-distance accuracy of the Lions.

Loyola-Marymount hit 10-of-15 shots from 3-point range and pulled away thanks to a key second-half run.

UCLA had a 42-41 lead with 14:32 remaining in the contest, but the Lions then produced a 12-2 flurry that put them in front for good.

Hamilton scored 23 points and Ireland had five rebounds and five assists to go with his 21 points.

UCLA shot just 38 percent from the floor, made 8-of-13 free throws and hit only 2-of-16 from beyond the 3-point arc.

David Wear and Reeves Nelson led the Bruins with 13 points each.
