COL BKB: Kansas 77, Florida Atlantic 54

LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Thomas Robinson scored 19 points despite making just four field goals Wednesday, leading No. 14 Kansas to a 77-54 win over Florida Atlantic.

Robinson hit only 4-of-13 from the field, but made 11 free throws, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked four shots. The Jayhawks held Florida Atlantic to 32 percent shooting and won the rebounding battle 49-30.

Tyshawn Taylor added 18 points and Travis Releford had 11 for Kansas (4-2), which played for the first time since falling to Duke in the Maui Invitational championship game. The other Kansas loss this season came against No. 1 Kentucky.

The Owls (3-5) got 17 points each from Pablo Bertone and Dennis Mavin.

Kansas put together a 16-5 run in the first half to overcome an early six-point deficit and led at the break 42-26.
