COL BKB: Alabama 82, Alabama A&M 45

TUSCALOOSA, Ala., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Rodney Cooper helped fuel a quick Alabama start Wednesday and the No. 13 Crimson Tide easily disposed of Alabama A&M 82-45.

Alabama rushed to a 24-4 lead, allowing the bench players to see lots of action in the Crimson Tide's sixth win in as many games.

Cooper made 6-of-9 shots while scoring 12 points, but Alabama was led by 16 points and nine rebounds off the bench from Charles Hankerson. Trevor Lacey added 12 points for Alabama, which played for the first time since winning the Puerto Rico Tip-Off title.

The Bulldogs (2-2) were paced by Demarquelle Tabb with 11 points. Alabama A&M was held to 24 percent shooting.
