COL BKB: Alabama 65, Purdue 56

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 20 (UPI) -- Trevor Releford dominated the game with 20 points, five assists and four rebounds Sunday, carrying 15th-ranked Alabama past Purdue 65-56.

Tony Mitchell chipped in with 14 points and 10 rebounds as the Crimson Tide (5-0) took the Puerto Rico Tip-Off championship game.

The win enabled Alabama to post its best start to a season since 2006-07.

The Boilermakers (4-1) were led by Robbie Hummel with 17 points.
