On Thursday, Smylie Kaufman announced that he picked up a new sponsor: Natural Light beer.

AUGUSTA, Ga., Aug. 12 (UPI) -- College golf fans have a new idol. On Thursday, Smylie Kaufman announced that he picked up a new sponsor: Natural Light beer.
"Well I guess the cat is out of the bag," Kaufman tweeted. "Natty light and I have teamed up! Videos coming soon! #natty @naturallight."
The Smylie Army Twitter account, for Kaufman's "official unofficial" fan club, tweeted a photo of Kaufman on top of a throne of Natural Light beer cases.
The 24-year-old LSU graduate talked about his deal in a text message to the Advocate.

"Fun stuff for me to do on off weeks," Kaufman told the Advocate.

Kaufman placed No. 29 at the Masters this year and has won more than $2.4 million in prize money on tour. Kaufman is ranked No. 70 in the Official World Golf Rankings.
