MIAMI, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- Lamar Miller and Mike James each scored rushing touchdowns Saturday and Miami-Florida handed 19th-ranked Georgia Tech a 24-7 setback.

Miller scampered for 93 yards on 27 carries with a touchdown and James punched the ball into the end zone on a second effort for a 7-0 lead with 8:17 left in the first quarter for the Hurricanes (4-3, 2-2 ACC).

Quarterback Jacory Harris led Miami to the win despite completing just 8-of-23 passes for 140 yards with an interception.

The fading Yellow Jackets (6-2, 3-2), meanwhile, dropped their second straight after winning the first six contests of the season.

Tevin Washington was a paltry 6-of-12 through the air for 63 yards and a pick-off for Georgia Tech.
