Cincinnati basketball player makes shot off of face for Wichita State

By Alex Butler

March 5 (UPI) -- Cincinnati still beat Wichita State in men's basketball, but Jarron Cumberland added to the Shockers' score when he made a basket for them off of his face.

The Bearcats led 29-22 with 4:38 remaining in the first half when the peculiar play occurred. Shockers senior forward Rashard Kelly put up a 3-pointer, which clanked off of the rim. When the ball came down, it hit off of Shaquille Morris' hands and smacked Cumberland in the face. The ball bounced off of the backboard and directly through the net.
