COL BKB: Michigan 76, Iowa State 66

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Dec. 3 (UPI) -- Tim Hardaway's 19 points and six rebounds helped 15th-ranked Michigan knock of visiting Iowa State 76-66 Saturday.

Jordan Morgan chipped in with 16 points for Michigan (6-2) and Trey Burke scored 13.

Iowa State (5-3) was led by Royce White, who notched a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds. Chris Allen had 11 points for the Cyclones, who shot 35.8 percent from the floor and lost their second in a row.

Michigan led 34-25 at halftime and held on in the second half as Iowa State got on track with 41 points.

Allen hit two 3-pointers in the final minute for Iowa State, but the Wolverines got six points from the free-throw line by Zach Novak and two more from Hardaway to keep the Cyclones out of reach.
