Joseph "Joe" Thomas (born 28 October 1983) is an English actor who stars in the E4's comedy The Inbetweeners as Simon Cooper.
His mother is an English teacher at the Anglo European School in Ingatestone, Essex. His father is a history lecturer and Head of Learner Involvement at Harlow College in Essex. He has three younger brothers: Giles, Din and Wilkie.
Thomas and his writing partner Jonny Sweet, whom he met during his Cambridge years, performed together on the Project V – an internet comedy show. Thomas is a season ticket holder at West Ham United.
