Chicago Blackhawks place G Corey Crawford on injured reserve

The Chicago Blackhawks placed Corey Crawford on injured reserve and recalled fellow goaltender Jeff Glass and forward David Kampf from Rockford of the American Hockey League, the team announced Wednesday.

Crawford, who spent time on injured reserve earlier this season with a lower-body ailment, posted a 16-9-2 mark with a 2.27 goals-against average and .929 save percentage in 28 games this season. The 32-year-old was pulled early on Saturday after yielding four goals on seven shots against the New Jersey Devils.

Glass owns a 10-4-2 record with a 2.60 GAA and .917 save percentage in 18 games with the IceHogs this season. The 32-year-old Alberta native has permitted two goals or fewer in seven of his last eight appearances.

Kampf, 22, has collected seven goals and 10 assists in 30 games this season, with seven points (three goals, four assists) coming in his last seven.
