Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Twitter is a weird place, where dreams come true and you can earn the right to dress up as a giant Bloomin' Onion.
Just ask SBNation's Ryan Nanni.
Nanni mentioned in January that he wanted to dress up as the Bloomin' Onion mascot at the 2018 Outback Bowl. The big game pits the Michigan Wolverines (8-4) against the South Carolina Gamecocks (8-4).
"Hi @Outback - do you have a list of the duties required of the Bloomin' Onion mascot? I want to make sure I get any necessary training," Nanni tweeted on Jan. 6.
On Tuesday, he asked the restaurant to make his dreams come true.

"Ok, @Outback," Nanni tweeted. "How many retweets is it going to take for you to let me fulfill my destiny and become Bloomin Onion Man?"
Nanni had nearly 13,100 retweets on Wednesday afternoon.
"Those are Bloomin' big shoes to fill. 10,000 retweets! #FryinNanni," Outback Steakhouse tweeted.
