COL FB: Florida State 80, Idaho 14

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Jameis Winston ignored his legal problems and fired four touchdown passes Saturday, propelling second-ranked Florida State to an 80-14 blowout of Idaho.

Winston, who is being investigated in connection with an alleged sexual battery incident, completed 14-of-25 passes for 225 yards as the Seminoles (11-0) remained one of six unbeaten teams in the nation.

The front-runner for the Heisman Trophy was the subject of controversy this week as ESPN reported his DNA was found on the clothes of a woman who alleged he assaulted her last December at a Tallahassee, Fla., bar.

Kenny Shaw and Kelvin Benjamin combined for eight receptions for 168 yards with four touchdowns.

Devonta Freeman ran for 129 yards on 11 carries with a TD and Karlos Williams added 114 rushing yards on 10 tries with two scores for FSU, which will play Florida next week in their regular season finale.

Taylor Davis went 16-of-38 for 220 passing yards and a TD but was picked off three times for Idaho (1-10).
