COL FB: Oklahoma 48, Iowa State 10

NORMAN, Okla., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Damien Williams scored two touchdowns Saturday and 17th-ranked Oklahoma turned a close game against Iowa State into a 48-10 rout.

The Sooners (8-2, 5-2 Big 12) went into the locker room at halftime with the game tied 10-10 and then dominated the second half to remain undefeated at home.

Williams carried 10 times for 128 yards and backfield mates Brennan Clay and Trevor Knight also ran in for scores for Oklahoma. Trevor Knight completed 8-of-14 passes for 61 yards and Kendall Thompson completed a 3-yard TD pass to Aaron Ripkowski late in the fourth quarter.

Sam Richardson scored the only touchdown for Iowa State. The Cyclones (1-9, 0-7) lost their seventh game in a row. Grant Rohach threw for 179 yards but was intercepted twice.

Richardson opened the scoring with a 4-yard TD run and Cole Netten kicked a 29-yard field goal to put the Cyclones ahead 10-3 with 5:25 to play in the first quarter.
