DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Brandon Connette rushed for four touchdowns and passed for another Saturday, elevating Duke over No. 23 Miami-Florida 48-30 for a sixth straight win.

Connette ran the ball 11 time for 37 yards and completed 5-of-9 passes for 81 more as the Blue Devils (8-2, 4-2 ACC) notched an eighth victory for the first time since 1994.

Shaquille Powell picked up 82 total yards with a pair of TDs on seven carries and two catches.

The Hurricanes (7-3, 3-3), meanwhile, dropped a third straight despite a 379-yard passing performance from Stephen Morris. He made good on 30-for-49 attempts with two touchdowns and an interception.

Herb Waters corralled both of Morris' TD passes, finishing with nine grabs for 116 yards.
