COL FB: Florida State 63, Maryland 0

TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Oct. 5 (UPI) -- Jameis Winston threw five touchdown passes Saturday in eighth-ranked Florida State's 63-0 drubbing of No. 25 Maryland.

The redshirt freshman left the game early in the fourth quarter after racking up 393 yards on 23-of-32 completions for the undefeated Seminoles (5-0, 3-0 ACC).

Kelvin Benjamin and Nick O'Leary both had two touchdown catches for the Seminoles. Karlos Williams ran for two scores and 29 rushing yards.

Maryland (4-1, 0-1) lost starting quarterback C.J. Brown in the second quarter. Sophomore Caleb Rowe came in and completed 9-of-17 passes for 119 yards. The Terrapins were limited to 234 total offensive yards and nine first downs.
