COL FB: Oregon 55, California 16

EUGENE, Ore., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Byron Marshall and Thomas Tyner combined for 242 rushing yards and three touchdowns Saturday in second-ranked Oregon's 55-16 humbling of California.

Marshall carried the ball 19 times for 130 yards with a pair of scores and Tyner added 112 rushing yards, including a 21-yard scoring run, as the Ducks (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) took advantage of five Golden Bears turnovers on their way to a win in their conference opener.

Marcus Mariota completed 11-of-25 passes for 114 yards, hooking up with Josh Huff and Daryle Hawkins on first-quarter scoring strikes, and later added a rushing score for Oregon.

Zach Kline went 18-of-38 for 165 passing yards, a TD and an interception for California (1-3, 0-1).
