COL FB: Clemson 56, Duke 20

DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Tajh Boyd hurled five touchdown passes on his way to a 344-yard performance Saturday in ninth-ranked Clemson's 56-20 victory over Duke.

Boyd (16-of-23, three interceptions) connected on five scoring strikes for the second straight week as the Tigers (8-1, 5-1 ACC) notched their fifth consecutive triumph.

Boyd also picked up 72 rushing yards and a score on nine carries.

DeAndre Hopkins led the Clemson receiving corps with four grabs for 128 yards and three touchdowns. Sammy Watkins also was a favored target, collecting six passes for 97 yards with a TD.

The Blue Devils (6-4, 3-3) were led by Sean Renfree, who managed a 23-of-39 passing efficiency for 240 yards and a touchdown.
