COL FB: Oregon 70, Colorado 14

EUGENE, Ore., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- Quarterback Marcus Mariota and running back Bryan Bennett combined for six touchdowns Saturday in No. 2 Oregon's 70-14 pounding of Colorado.

Mariota threw for two TDs and rushed for another. Bennett ran for a trio of scores en route to 73 yards for the Ducks (8-0, 5-0 Pac-12), who rolled in a tune-up for next week's meeting with No. 8 Southern California.

Mariota completed 10-of-14 passes for 136 yards and Kenjon Barner rambled for 104 yards with two rushing touchdowns on nine carries in Oregon's one-sided win.

The Buffaloes (1-7, 1-4) lost their fourth consecutive game as Jordan Webb and Nick Hirschman were held to a combined 14-of-27 through the air for 95 yards.

Christian Powell led CU's rushing corps, chalking up 121 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries.
