COL FB: Oregon State 10, Wisconsin 7

CORVALLIS, Ore., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Sean Mannion threw for 285 yards Saturday, helping Oregon State stun 13th-ranked Wisconsin 10-7.

Mannion completed 30-of-48 passes and completed a touchdown pass to Brandin Cooks for the Beavers (1-0), who were playing their first game of the season after their scheduled opener against Nicholls State was postponed due to Hurricane Isaac.

Cooks made seven grabs in all for 89 yards. Malcolm Agnew rushed for 47 yards on 11 carries in the victory.

Star running back Montee Ball was held to 60 yards on 15 carries for the Badgers (1-1).

Danny O'Brien went 20-of-38 through the air for 181 yards and a score in the setback, which snapped the Badgers' 33-game non-conference winning streak.
