CLEMSON, S.C., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Tajh Boyd and DeAndre Hopkins hooked up for three touchdown passes Saturday in 12th-ranked Clemson's 52-27 pasting of Ball State.
Boyd went 19-of-23 through the air, racking up 229 yards as the Tigers (2-0) won their eighth straight home game.

Hopkins finished with 105 receiving yards on six receptions for the defending ACC champs.
The Cardinals (1-1) got 120 rushing yards on seven carries from Horactio Banks.
