COL FB: Missouri 17, Texas 5

COLUMBIA, Mo., Nov. 12 (UPI) -- Kendial Lawrence rambled for 106 yards and a touchdown on 18 carries Saturday, powering Missouri to a 17-5 upset of No. 20 Texas.

Quarterback James Franklin also scored en route to 33 rushing yards on 13 tries while also passing for 186 yards on 18-of-26 attempts as the Tigers (5-5, 3-4 Big 12) won for the second time in three games.

Franklin's 2-yard TD run 9 minutes into the second quarter put Missouri ahead for good at 7-3, and the Tigers extended their advantage to 17-3 on Trey Barrow's third-period field goal.

David Ash completed 13-for-29 passes for 158 yards and an interception for the Longhorns (6-3, 3-3).
