COL FB: Nebraska 34, Ohio State 27

LINCOLN, Neb., Oct. 9 (UPI) -- Rex Burkhead spurred a big Nebraska comeback Saturday, scoring the final two touchdowns and handing the 15th-ranked Cornhuskers a 34-27 win over Ohio State.

Nebraska (5-1, 1-1 Big Ten) staged the biggest rally in school history, reeling off the game's final 28 points after facing a 21-point deficit early in the third quarter.

Taylor Martinez found Burkhead on a 30-yard TD pass to tie the game with 8 minutes to go. Burkhead then delivered a 17- yard scoring run, giving the Cornhuskers the lead with 5:10 to play.

He finished the game with 117 rushing yards on 26 carries along with five receptions for 59 yards.

Martinez went 16-for-22 passing for 185 yards, two scores and an interception. He added 100 rushing yards on 17 carries with a score for Nebraska.

The Buckeyes (3-3, 0-2) lost Braxton Miller to a possible leg injury after he went 5-for-8 with 95 yards and a score through the air.

Miller ran for 91 yards on 10 carries.
