COL FB: Oklahoma State 37, Arizona 14

STILLWATER, Okla., Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Brandon Weeden drove Oklahoma State to touchdowns on its first three possessions Thursday and the No. 7 Cowboys went on to down Arizona 37-14.

Oklahoma State won its second game in as many starts with, Weeden completing 41-of-52 passes for 385 yards and two touchdowns.

The Cowboys rolled up 595 yards of offense and the teams combined for 1,018 total yards.

Weeden marched Oklahoma State 78, 80 and 70 yards to open the game. Joseph Randle ended two of the drives with scoring runs of 1 and 4 yards and Weeden also threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Justin Blackmon during a 21-point first half.

Weeden and Blackmon also hooked up for an 8-yard score in the third period. Randle gained 122 yards on 15 carries.

Arizona (1-1) was led by quarterback Nick Foles, who threw for 350 yards and a touchdown.
