EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 20 (UPI) -- The 17th-ranked Oregon Ducks used a fast start in the second half to shake off Utah Valley 69-54 Tuesday.

Joseph Young scored 20 points for the Ducks (3-0), who led by four at halftime and then took control of the contest with a 24-4 run to start the second half.

Johnathan Lloyd scored a dozen points and had five steals for Oregon. Mike Moser scored eight points and collected nine rebounds. The Ducks out-rebounded Utah Valley (2-2) 42-30.

Mitch Bruneel and Hayes Garrity both scored 15 points for Utah Valley. Garrity was 3-for-4 from the 3-point line. Zach Nelson was the other Wolverine in double figures with 11.
