COL BKB: Wisconsin 63, Ohio State 60

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Jared Berggren's 3-pointer with 31 seconds left put Wisconsin ahead Sunday and the 15th-ranked Badgers held on for a 63-60 win over No. 9 Ohio State.

Berggren added two free throws to ice the victory, finishing with 18 points for Wisconsin (21-8, 10-6 Big Ten), which logged its first road win against a Top 10 team in 32 years.

Jordan Taylor added 19 points, and Ryan Evans contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Badgers.

With the setback, the Buckeyes (23-6, 11-5) likely lost a chance for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament and handed at least a share of the Big Ten regular season conference title to Michigan State (24-5, 13-3).

Deshaun Thomas pumped in 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while William Buford contributed 15 points with nine rebounds for Ohio State.

OSU's leading scorer, Jared Sullinger, was held to eight points on 4-of-10 shooting.
