COL BKB: Duke 70, Virginia Tech 65 (OT)

DURHAM, N.C., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- The fourth-ranked Duke Blue Devils overcame a woeful shooting performance Saturday to upend Virginia Tech 70-65 in overtime.

Austin Rivers scored 23 and Seth Curry added 15 plus 19 rebounds to lead Duke (25-4, 12-2 ACC), although the Blue Devils shot just 38.5 percent from the field.

Virginia Tech (15-14, 4-10) wasn't much better, shooting 40.9 percent from the field, and played Duke close the entire way. The Hokies trailed 34-32 at halftime but were outscored 12-7 in OT.

Cadarian Raines, Erick Green and Dorenzo Hudson all tallied 16 points for the Hokies and Dorian Finney-Smith pulled down a dozen rebounds.

The win gave Duke its fifth consecutive win and eighth in their last nine outings.
