WACO, Texas, Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Angel Rodriguez and Rodney McGruder combined for 30 points Saturday and Kansas State used a tight defense to upend No. 10 Baylor 57-56.

Jordan Henriquez (nine points, seven rebounds) put the Wildcats ahead for good on a slam dunk off an assist from Rodriguez with 1:55 to go, and Kansas State (18-8, 7-7 Big 12) held Baylor scoreless the rest of the way.

Jamar Samuels added nine points, three blocks and two steals as the Wildcats snapped a two-game losing streak.

The Bears (22-5, 9-5), meanwhile, dropped their third in four contests.

Quincy Miller led Baylor with a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds and Quincy Acy ended with 14 points for the Bears.
