LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Chris Smith and Gorgui Dieng combined for 31 points Monday and co-No. 22 Louisville used a hot-shooting offense to stifle Connecticut 80-59.
Smith drained four from long range en route to 16 points and Dieng added 15 for the Cardinals (16-7, 6-5 Big East), who won their fifth straight.

Louisville connected on 11 three-pointers overall in the win.
Kyle Kuric and Chane Behanan teamed up for 17 points and 21 rebounds for the victors.
The Huskies (18-6, 6-5), meanwhile, could manage just 3-of-14 from behind the arc as they dropped their fifth in six contests.
Ryan Boatright provided 18 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals for Connecticut.
