LAWRENCE, Kan., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Tyshawn Taylor and Thomas Robinson paced a strong second half Wednesday that allowed No. 8 Kansas to pull away from Oklahoma 84-62.
The Sooners were within three points at halftime but then surrendered 50 points during the second period.

Kansas bounced back from a loss at Iowa State, its first conference setback, to shoot 55 percent from the field.
Taylor scored 21 points and Robinson had 20 points to go with 17 rebounds. Travis Releford added 12 points for the Jayhawks (18-4, 8-1 Big 12 Conference).
Oklahoma (13-8, 3-6) got 19 points from Romero Osby and 17 from Steven Pledger.
