COL BKB: Baylor 75, Texas 71

WACO, Texas, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Perry Jones III's double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds Saturday sparked seventh-ranked Baylor to a 76-71 win over Texas.

The Bears (19-2, 6-2 Big 12) hung on for their second straight win as Texas struggled from the free-throw line, going 5-of-9 down the stretch.

Brady Heslip contributed 11 points for the victors.

The Longhorns (13-8, 3-5) got 32 points from J'Covan Brown but couldn't avoid their fourth loss in five games.
