COL BKB: Missouri 89, Baylor 88

WACO, Texas, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Ricardo Ratliffe poured in 27 points, going 11-of-14 from the field Saturday in fifth-ranked Missouri's 89-88 victory over No. 3 Baylor.

Marcus Denmon hit a free throw with 4.5 seconds to provide the difference, netting 15 points overall, and Phil Pressey chipped in with 18 for the Tigers (18-1, 5-1 Big 12).

Missouri won a fourth straight game since its last setback, which came Jan. 7 against Kansas State.

Baylor (17-2, 4-2), meanwhile, lost its second consecutive contest after starting the season a school-record 17-0.

Quincy Miller struck for 29 points and Pierre Jackson added 20 for the Bears.
