COL BKB: Baylor 61, Texas A&M 52

WACO, Texas, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Perry Jones III had 14 points and 12 rebounds Monday in fifth-ranked Baylor's 61-52 decision over Texas A&M.

The Bears (14-0) are off to the best start in school history with the help of Quincy Acy, who added 13 points and six boards.

Quincy Miller chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds while A.J. Walton scored 10, as Baylor surpassed the 13-0 start of its 1945-46 season.

The Aggies (9-4) got a game-high 21 points from Elston Turner and 14 points from Khris Middleton.
