LAS VEGAS, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Quincy Miller and Perry Jones helped Baylor dominate down the stretch Thursday, leading the No. 7 Bears to a 72-59 win over St. Mary's.

The Bears set a school record when they won their first 12 games in the 2000-01 season.

Baylor led the Gaels by only two with 14 minutes to go, but a 9-2 run opened some breathing room and the Bears coasted from there.

Miller scored 15 points and Jones had 14 to go with nine rebounds.

Of the six unbeaten teams left in major college basketball, Baylor was one of four in action Thursday and they all won.

Syracuse, Indiana and Missouri also kept their perfect records Thursday. Murray State and Louisville are the other unbeaten teams.

Rob Jones scored 14 points for St. Mary's (10-2).
