COL BKB: Ohio State 80, Valparaiso 47

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 25 (UPI) -- William Buford helped turn a close game into a rout and finished with 25 points Friday, leading No. 3 Ohio State to an 80-47 decision over Valparaiso.

The Buckeyes owned only a four-point lead at halftime, but the second-half onslaught ignited by Buford helped Ohio State improve to 6-0 -- with a margin of victory of at least 33 points in each of its last four games.

Jared Sullinger scored 14 points with 13 rebounds, Aaron Craft added 15 points and eight assists and Deshaun Thomas scored 12 for the Buckeyes.

Valparaiso (5-2) was led by Jay Harris with 18. The Crusaders had won five straight games. Valparaiso went to the foul line just twice for the entire contest.
