MLB: Kansas City 5, Texas 3

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 29 (UPI) -- John Buck had one run, three hits, and three RBI Saturday night as Kansas City beat the Texas Rangers, 5-3.

David DeJesus and Mark Teahen both had one RBI; while Mark Grudzielanek and Andres Blanco each had two hits for the Royals (37-66), who have won two in a row after losing four of their previous five games.

Winner Jorge De La Rosa (3-2) scattered two runs and nine hits over six innings with two walks and seven strikeouts.

Ambiorix Burgos earned his 16th save.

Gerald Laird and Mark DeRosa hit back-to-back home runs in the second inning; Ian Kinsler hit a sacrifice fly; and both Mark Teixeira and Carlos Lee had three hits for the Rangers (51-53), who have dropped six games in a row.

Losing pitcher Kevin Millwood (10-7) yielded four runs and seven hits in 5 1/3 innings with five walks and two strikeouts.
