Feb. 1 (UPI) -- It might be a bit farfetched to believe that a 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive tackle stole the National Signing Day spotlight while sitting in a cafeteria in Lawrence, Kansas.
But that is the world we live in.

Twitter had a large hand in making Lawrence High School's Kobe Buffalomeat world-famous Wednesday. Buffalomeat signed up to play for Illinois State next season.

Buffalomeat enjoyed the rapid fame from his odd name, tweeting with Jordan Peele of Key & Peele. He also talked to the producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, regarding a future Skype call. He will be on the show Thursday, according to multiple reports.
