Each program agreed to the matchup, which will be the first meeting between the teams since 2013. The game is part of the Camping World Kickoff at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The stadium will be known as Camping World Stadium starting Wednesday.

"We are pleased to have partnered with Florida Citrus Sports and ESPN Events to kick off the 2019 season against Miami,'' Florida Athletic Director Jeremy Foley told FloridaGators.com. "Orlando is a great Gator city and we look forward to playing in front of our fans from all over the state of Florida and beyond."

The Hurricanes lead the all-time series 29-26 and won the last meeting. The Camping World Kickoff series also includes 2016 and 2018 season openers in Orlando.

Before Florida won the battle in 2008, Miami had won six straight meetings.
