ARLINGTON, Texas, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- The Alabama Crimson Tide had some extra help in its 38-0 Dec. 31 dismantling of Michigan State.
According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, "Lane Kiffin said Steve Sarkisian texted him some plays to run at halftime of Michigan State game. Kiffin wouldn't say if he used them or not."
Sarkisian was fired from USC in October. "Sarkisian filed a complaint against USC for a breach of contract, saying the school did not accommodate his disability," according to ESPN's Joe Schad.
The Los Angeles Times reported that Sarkisian accused the school's athletic director, Pat Haden of firing him instead of allowing him to get treatment for alcoholism.
