COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 27 (UPI) -- Quarterback Cardale Jones isn't intimidated by SEC defensive lines, but when it comes to mannequins, he jumps with fear.
Ohio State's championship signal-caller walked into the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Monday and was taken by surprise. As he paced into the locker room, he spotted what he believed were a group of mannequins, wearing Ohio State throwback uniforms. But someone had replaced one of the mannequins with a human being. When the not-so-still mannequin made its move, Jones jumped onto a couch. The sequence begins about 2:12 into the video.
The Buckeyes have been extremely loose after winning the first college football playoff national championship last season. Last month, coach Urban Meyer parked his Mercedes directly behind a player's car, blocking it in, because the player had parked in his spot.
