Family, team seeking info on missing Ohio State football player

Former Ohio State football players have announced a $1,000 reward for information on the missing lineman's whereabouts.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Ohio State University football player Kosta Karageorge remained missing Sunday as family and friends sought information on his whereabouts.

Karageorge, a senior at OSU, was last seen early Wednesday morning, around 2 a.m. leaving his apartment. His mother told NBC4 in Ohio she received a text from Kosta at 1:25 a.m. Wednesday that stated: "Sorry if I am an embarrassment, but these concussions have my head all [expletive] up."

Former Ohio State football players have announced a $1,000 reward for information on the missing lineman's whereabouts.

Members of his family, friends and other volunteers continue to search for Karageorge and canvass areas to distribute the missing posters.

On Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes played their rivals the Michigan Wolverines. It was the team's final home game, a game during which seniors playing their last games are honored. When Karageorge's name was announced, the police issued missing flyer on his disappearance was shown on a giant scoreboard screen.
