COL FB: Wisconsin 48, Tennessee Tech 0

MADISON, Wis., Sept. 7 (UPI) -- Joel Stave threw three touchdown passes and Wisconsin churned out 606 yards of total offense Saturday in a 48-0 trouncing of Tennessee Tech.

The 21st-ranked Badgers (2-0), who thrashed Massachusetts 45-0 last weekend, held Tennessee Tech (1-1) to 112 total yards, including just 30 on the ground.

Stave was 24-for-28 passing for 219 yards. Corey Clement ran for 149 of Wisconsin's 398 rushing yards and scored twice.

Darian Stone completed 8-of-19 passes for 69 yards for Tennessee Tech. The Golden Eagles punted nine times in the game.
